is my video card running agp 8x?

i dont have an option in the bios to change agp rate er anything.. when i run dxdiag all it says is agp acceleration enabled.. how do i tell if my card is actually running 4x agp or 8x?

ATI cards have an AGP test and report in the control panel pages somewhere. Look for "SmartGart".

Either use Peter's method, or try using a diagnostic program like SIW.
