is my video card going? getting artifacts sometimes

when i boot into windows from a cold boot i am getting artifacts on certain web pages but nowhere else. if i reboot they are gone. the temps are fine for the video card and the case. i am using vista 64 bit ultimate at 1680x1050 resolution which is the native resolution for my monitor. i also get artifacts when i run 3dpipes screen saver, so i turned that off. i am running the default vista theme of aero glass i believe it is called, could that be causing the artifacts? i have not had any crashes or anything, yet. any thoughts on this are welcome and encouraged. the video card is the one in my signature below
