is my torrent programing causing this warning?

Hi. I have a router and i am using torrents and I had to put my computer into the DMZ zone in the routers settings so that I could download at a good speed.

I have Norton Internet Security and every now and then when my torrent program (ABC) is open, I get this message come up...

'A remote system is trying to access your computer'
Remote Address: 193.5.115.115:0
Local Address: 192.168.0.139:1026
Protocol: UDP (Inbound)

Does anyone know if this is just my torrent program communicating with other computers on the internet to download torrents or whether this would be a hacker or something? I am just unsure whether to allow this or not

I don't know anything about ABC specifically, but on most BT programs you can set what ports the program listens to. Pull those up, and if ABC is using those ports to listen on, I'd say you're ok. And fyi putting your computer on the DMZ is a big risk for just using bit torrent. Just set up port forwarding instread.
 
No, the bittorrent protocol is TCP not UDP.

And you don't have to put your machine the 'DMZ' you just have to forward the appropriate ports.
