Hi all,

Do you think my system is running too hot ?

It's the dual Opteron in my sig.

cpu core : 38C
chipset : 47C
GPU: 48C

are those temps under load or at idle? temperatures should be mesured when the computer is under heavy load. you can run something like two iterations of prime95 to test.
 
No those temps are at idle.

I was just web browsing & ripping a dvd.

What's considered hot for a Opt. 170. BTW the system is not oc'd.

I'm beginning to think it's the OCZ power supplies that I have. My other system for the 2nd time in 2 months just powered off by it's self.

And this morning it would not turn on. I had to disconnect the power cord and flip the switch, then it came back on.

Both computers each are on a seperate APC ups.

I've had systems shut down because the (AMD) CPU was too hot, but at other times, because the settings on my UPS was too sensitive.
