Is my SSD done for?

So I dropped my laptop from about 6 feet yesterday. Everything seemed fine, I was able to restart and use it perfectly for about half an hour. Then the screen went black. I held the button to power off and rebooted it, and it gives me a blue screen saying it can't find some file necessary for booting. I rebooted multiple times trying to get it to work, and the result varied between the same blue screen (sometimes complaining about a different file), not recognizing the drive at all, and booting for a few seconds then freezing on either the loading screen or just a black screen with a cursor. I opened it up and everything seemed alright except what look like burn marks on the SSD (pic below). I'm installing Windows on my HDD so I should still be able to use the laptop at least. Is there anything I can try to revive this drive or is it a lost cause?

If it helps, the laptop is an ASUS K501LX-NB52.

That does look like a lost cause, and I really don't think there is anything you can do to salvage it.

That's what I figured, thanks for confirming. I managed to get Windows on the HDD and everything else seems fine so I guess I'll be on the lookout for a new SSD.
