If the games don't work fine then RMA it. As long as there's no physical damage you should be able to RMA it.

Yeah it's time to stop guessing and let the warranty come into play. Something is wrong with it and as long as you didn't physically damage it, overclock or remove the HSF then you should be covered.

Did you register the card with ATI or whatever company it's from?? If you did you probably should be able to RMA it.

I think you can do it online but since you're unfamiliar with the process I think you should call customer service and ask them.

Guys i reinstalled the drivers and my games are all fine but my card is still running hot.

Do you think if i get a after market cooler it will make a diff, also i don't care about the noise, i just want to play my game like to way it was ment to be played with the X1800XL.

Is this the best cooler i can get for my video card?

Is this the best cooler for my card, money is not a problem.

What should i do.

If you put an aftermarket cooler on the card, you will void the warranty and will be stuck with it. Get ahold of ATI customer service, let them know what is happening and do whatever they suggest. It's up to you what you want to do, but that's what I would do.

Guys i think there is really somthing wrong with my card for some reason my cards fan just stoped working, tried to sping the fan but nothing happened and the cards temp was rising faster then anything so i pres'd the reset botton and the PC restarted and the fan started to spin again, tomoro i am going to call ATI about this.

Also when this happened i was just reading the fan speed on ATI TOOL, it was blank.

I tried their ticket system but they were saying that there could be worng with my OS.

Im going to call them tomoro.

On the ATI website it says you have to register your card to get telephone tech support. Since you already did that, you must have been given the telephone number already.
