I've got the upgrade bug again, and I'm going to do it big. Thing is I don't really need any more performance, so I'll be focusing on aesthetics (vain I know) and improving the performance and stability I already have.
SO QUESTION: Would I see any benefits from upgrading to a 780i or something similar with SLI? What exactly is the difference between 680i and 780i?
ALSO: Is a 775 system even worth upgrading now? I'll eventually go i7, but in a year or so. I'd like a cheap performance boost (CPU) but it's funny that the venerable Q6600 is still so very competitive!
I wouldn't be opposed to a full overall to 1366, but the performance/price just isn't there. And the current processors out now will be like the Allendales and original C2D's are to us now.
