Is my refresh rate causing this? Time for new monitor?

Here is my setup:

MSI 8800gt oc
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
Intel E2108 @ 3ghz
g.skill pc6400 2x1gb

Viewsonic A90f+ 19" crt

I can play games fine at 1280x1024(native and 80hz), but at 1600x1200 when I turn using the mouse it seems to get a lil glitchy and I can see a clear line going down my screen. I know I'm not dipping below 30fps cause I range from anywhere from 40-175fps

If I do need a new monitor, what size lcd is comparable to a 19" crt?

Are you sure your sensitivity isn't too high for the monitor to keep up?
Like, are you turning too fast?

I seem to have fixed it. I must force enable vsync and triple buffering. Someone suggested in on and it seems to be working!
