Is my ram too fast?!

Just purchased a new pc, which includes

AA8XE-3rd Eye Motherboard

2x512 OCZ DDR2667 PC2-5400

I just realized though, that it appears the fastest the motherboard can support is 400mhz DDR2. Will I even see any benefits of the ram I got, would I be better off saving $70 and getting OCZ PC3500 ?

if you're not ocing, you dont need anything higher then pc-3200.

so just get DDR2 value ram if i'm not overclocking?

u should get ddr2 533, but that is fine, give u room to overclock

Dual DDR2-533

seems to support at least that.

there may not be a standard for DDR2-667 yet.
