A couple days ago my puter all of a sudden started having aweful problems. Icons were disappearing, the minimize and close buttons were disappearing, when I tried to start a game it would freeze and reboot, when I would click on 3dmark2001 icon it would disappear and puter would freeze and reboot, and several other problems. I tried changing video card drivers 22.80's(been using for months) to 21.83's. Same problems. Reformatted HD and reloaded XP and 3dmark2001 only. Same problem. I pulled out 1 stick of RAM and reseated video card. It ran fine then. I thought the stick I pulled out might be bad so I put the other stick in by itself and it ran fine. So I put both sticks back in and I was able to run several 3dmarks. I'm really not convinced the problem is resolved because I loaded up Serious Sam 2 and I have experienced several errors. Could be the game though.

Do my original problems sound RAM related or maybe it could be the video card?
