is my psu a good brand?

hi all,
i'm wondering if my chieftec 420watt psu is any good? my system isn't posting and i am 100% it isn't my vid card or cpu. that leaves the mobo and psu.

i tried unplugging all but the essentials but still nothing, it lights up the mobo, and the fans spin and light up, but no posting.

my system:
abit ic7-max3
2gig hyperx
9800xt
audigy 2zs platinum
p4 3.4 northwood

Chieftec doesn't make PSUs - What is the brand and model no. on the PSU itself as well as the UL file number (Exxxxxx below the RU symbol).
. Sometimes it takes two or three reseatings of the AGP card, memory and/or CPU to get it right again - particularly if your machine runs in a humid environment. Try that first before worrying about the PSU. If that doesn't work, check each of the three items in another known good machine if possible to rule them out as the problem. Reseat all your power connections too - ATX, P4 12V (4-pin square), drives, etc...

take everything out of the case, install only the vid card, 1 stick ram and keyboard, mouse, see if it boots now....if so, you may be grounding out on a standoff or something else in the case....
