Is my printer kaput?

It is a HP laserjet 1020. It has been printing fine. Now I send a print job, it goes to the queue, spools then prints the job. Event viewer says the job was printed. Only the printer just sits there with its green everything is fine light. Toner is fine. I can't even get a test page out of it. It never even starts warming the laser.

I have it attached to a server 2008 box using vista drivers... but it has always printed fine... even when shared (even though it is a host printer).

Can find any firmware to flash, drivers are from 2007. Unplugged it for a while let it sit, windows immediately detects when it is turned on. I can do whatever I need to do to it, except print. I guess tonight I will hook it up to a laptop to rule out the OS.

Do more than unhook it. Go into settings/printers and completely uninstall it. Reboot, and then reinstall it from scratch.

Yeh that did it. Which I find odd. I have always seen jobs get stuck in the queue. Never seen it where everything but the printer thinks the document printed.
