Is my power supply big enough?

My 6600gt should be here from newegg on tuesday. I have a stock dell 4700, which from their website states it has a 305watt PSU.. do I need something bigger than that to run this card? currently I have one sata HD, and one CD rom installed.. no other cards (I bought the skin and bones version for cheap upgrading) I just read another post where some kid was getting error messages while running a 450watt psu and his overclocked 6600gt

450W PSU shouldn't be a problem at all with the 6600GT, as far as wattage goes. Unless he had some significant other stuff.

As for your 305W, I'd rather have more than that but I don't know much about PSU's.

Currenlty running ASUS 6600GT on Antec 480W PSU.

The error messages probably have to do more with a bad processor, bad memory, bad overclock or a combination of the three than with this PSU.
