Is my PC capable enough to run and record Riptide GP2?

The topic might sound like a sarcasm, but it isn't.

There was this game on Android, which I really loved, Riptide GP2, so thought rather than playing at a small screen lets play it on bigger screen, at more resolution. So I downloaded (ahem version from torrent) the game and was playing it. That's all right, but when I tried to record the game via Dxtory the problems started. I didn't notice at first but then saw that the file FPS of Dxtory was showing 30-40 FPS instead of my set 60. I could not understand why is that, still don't. Anyway, found that exiting the game from full screen mode (you know playing in Windowed mode) drastically improved the frame rates, not consistent at 60, but something like 45 I guess. Anyway, that's not the point. The thing is why can't Dxtory record this simple game (graphically) at constant 60 frames? I tried changing recording codec from Lagarith Loseless to Dxtory Video, but that didn't help. I tried Fraps to record it too, the result was worse.

Is this some kind of bad coding in game, or what am I missing? This isn't a big deal, but really annoying, and I am curious too.

Thanks in advance.

PS: One thing I forgot to mention, when I play the recorded clip, the HDD LED keeps blinking, you know what I mean, when HDD performs heavy tasks, that kind of blinking :) Is my HDD gone?
