Is my overclocking doing well?? Is it worth going furthur?

Hi guys.

I have an ASRock939Dual, A64 3700+ SanDiego, and 2x512 Corsair XMS3200C2PT Platinum.

Im currently running at HTT237x11=2607mhz, and memory @ 186mhz 2-3-3-5 1T, divider @ 166. I cant go any higher than HTT255 (no matter what multiplier) cos my mobo doesnt like it lol. So ive bumped a multiplier and lowered HTT to get the cpu at higher speeds with the sacrifce of mem speed. Ive done numerous benchmarks on SANDRA (burnin) and PRIME95 and it seems very stable. Do you think I should furthur bump the HTT by 1mhz increments or is 2.6ghz about the limit for a 3700SD?

Temps:
38 idle
45 load

on coolermaster hyper48 w/ stock 92mm fan.

PS: What memory speed will I get if I use divider 200 when on HTT237? Im not sure what the math is when working out the mem speed.

Yeah 2.6 is good for the cpu but not memory, as u know im underclocking the memory which im not very happy about! Ill see how far i can go with the HTT hopefully i can get it 1:1 with the memory stock speed (200mhz).

2.7ghz is probably more the limit for the 3700+ san diego on air with a bit of vcore boost....

To bad on that ASSrock board....I have seen a few that were bought as budget ocer boards only to have them limit the whole thing...

I know, the mobo does let me down alot when it comes to HTT overclocking. Maybe I should invest in a DFI lanparty, then again im stuck with a new geforce7800gs on AGP. Thats the main reason why i bought the asrock, its gotta agp port as well as pcie 16x.

I wouldn't invest anymore into this...chances are you wont get much more going to a diff mobo....

Better to save the money for the inevitable DDr2 and PCI-e upgrade you will eventually have to make....

Try 10.5 multi, 166 divider, 4x HT, and 255 HTT for 2.677GHz and 206MHz.

You can go 2.8 with this but the temps seem to be getting a little high there.

But if you are feeling brave 11x multi, 166, 4x for 2.8 and 216.

Even with the divider you are running over 200 because that's what HTT does.

I dont have 10.5 multi. The mobo only supports whole numbered multis IE: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12... and so on. I cant go inbetween. Im now running at HTT240x11 and it still seems stable, been running prime95 for 15mins still going.

My target is to reach HTT246x11=2706mhz rock solid stable. Do you think ill get it? Hopefully voltage wont be as issue when I get that high cos im already at the highest vcore (1.4) again the mobo wont let me go higher than this unless i did a vcore mod. Pretty crap this mobo when it comes to overclocking lol. I can settle with 2.7ghz if i can get it! HOPEFULLY lol.

EDIT: While my memory is running under stock speed do you think i could set them at ultra tight timings? IE 2-2-2-5, 1T

Yea i was about to mention the mem timings, set cas to 2 and the other timings dont matter much, thats what i did with my mem and dont notice at all any performance diff from running ram slower.
