Is my old powersupply up to it? (and other questions...)

Its time I feel to upgrade my system and I have been researching like crazy trying to find all the best parts for the rig.

This PC will be primarily a gaming machine.

Now im very tempted to go down the intel i7 route despite the prohibative cost, but the sensible part of my brain will probably win this fight and I shall settle for something along these lines: (comments welcome!)

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo, E7300
Motherboard: Gigabyte EP45-DS3L
RAM: 4GB of value stuff
Graphics Card: Thinking a ATI Radeon 4870 1GB, though this is where I have some questions...

From my old system I have a CoolerMaster Centurion5 Case ( http://www.silentpcreview.com/article200-page1.html ) Im 99% this will be fine to use again, but I thought I would just check?

Now I also have a FSP BLUESTORM/500 ( http://www.neoseeker.com/Artic...iews/fspbluestorm500w/ ) This is where im stuck, will this powersupply be good enough to power the new system, or is it on the borderline like I suspect? Should I downgrade the GPU? I wont have anything else too major in the system.. just the usual, 1 maybe 2 hardisks, a DVD drive, Soundcard...

Any help is most appriciated

Matt

I'm running an almost identical rig (power wise) on a PSU with the same rated output with no problems
