Just got one of those from newegg today had it up to 2 gig today on 1.7 volts. gonna mess with it some more tomorrow see where the top is on that one.

Yep, got it from NE today as a matter of fact. It's going in my wife's system tho..replacing an old Duron 800. Kind of a waste on a K7S5a rev.1 isn't it? That's ok, I'll keep my watercooled P4 thank you very much. HA!

OEM. I got it to top out at 2133 1.8 volts. Only average cooling on it so i didn't want to press it anymore. The chip is for a system i am building for someone else.

Hmmm.....I'm thinking about building an AMD box around this cpu I was strictly AMD/Nvidia until I was seduced by the dark side about eight mos. ago. Funny how things change. Anyway, I was thinking about going with an Epox 8RDA+ with two sticks of Corsair XMS3200? Good o/c combo or no? I've been out of the AMD loop for a while

btw, mine's oem as well but I paid the xtra $5.00 for the year warranty.

good choice, 8rda+, nf7-s, and even the soltek are all excellent choices for overlclocking

Yea i got the extra yera on it as well and dropped it in the soltek igp board.
