Is my MSI 6600 GT PCI-E running too hot?

I just got a new computer and got the msi 6600 gt. I downloaded everest and was suprised to find that it was running at 42 Celcius at idle. I saw some other people had the same temperatures, so is this normal or is mine overheating? Thanks in advance and if you could give me any tips on how to get it cooler it would be most appreciated.

Agreed, that's +/-10c cooler than my MSI 6600GT runs at idle. I wouldn't worry about that temperature. If you really want to you can do what mwmorph suggested buts it's not vital.

Does the PCI-E version have temp monitoring? I had to flash the bios on my AGP to get it to work.
