I get BSODs when both RAM slots are filled. If only one is filled, with either of my two sticks of RAM, the system boots fine. But there are a few other problems when only one slot is filled...
One USB slot doesn't work properly anymore.
If I look at the device manager it is blank. Same with network connections.
Sound no longer works.
When I boot up the computer the RAM sometimes isn't listed on the upper left corner.
Another odd thing that happened today. I woke up to find that my cold cathode had cracked in half... but I installed two new fans recently to keep the heat down. Maybe heat damaged the motherboard?
Is this a motherboard problem? I've tested everything out and my only suspects are the motherboard and vid card memory. I already shelled out $42 on a new PSU but it turns out that wasn't the problem. The error messages in event viewer vary.
