I'd just like some information regarding my Motherboard, My computer is a premade system.....with a .........

P4 1.9 ghz CPU ,
768 MB PC133 RAM,
Geforce 2 mx 400 (getting a radeon 9700 pro)

Apart from the fact that my motherboard only accepts pc133 ram , Is it a decent enough board for my system ? or will it slow me down ?

Please help as I havent a clue about Motherboards , and cant find any online reviews of my board.........thanks

If My Board Sucks bad......Can U reccomend a new model ?

Let's say that it will slow you down. Cos the PC133 ram cant keep up with the P4 QDR bus.
I dont think it sucks, but to run with this memos you could buy something cheaper, not a P4.
But since you got a P4 U should get all the performance it got.
You must decide if you want a Intel chipset based mobo, SiS or VIA chipset based mobo.
I seen lots of ppl using Asus mobos here, n saying good things about them.

my guess is you board is this giga-byte m-ATX 8IDML_CH, but without the LAN and sound (L may stand for the LAN network support and C may be the creative sound)
which is a i845 chipset from intel. (support SDRAM)
you can see here

it depend on if you are willing to pay the money for an upgrade of not. Because not only you are looking at MB price, and also a total different memory, DDR RAM may give you a good performance and a slight cost effective cp to RD RAM (intel 850 chipset which intel will not push RD RAM anymore, at least now).
If DDR RAM is your choice, check pricewatch.com, for PC2700 or PC3000, in order to replace your 768MB memory, you are looking at $160-180. A board will run you $100-180 depend on what you like. SIS 648 chipset look good and as well as the intel offer too.
Nowaday, most mb maker are much alike and use the ref. mostly. Just check what added list of features and price. (I think you are not much into Overclock if you get a premade system on the first place.)
