Is my monitor dying?

I have a viewsonic PF 790 (had it for about 6 months)...and in the right corner it get's really purple colored when I have any blue background. Anyone know if this can be fixed? Or if Viewsonic will rma it if I don't have the original box but I have the upc?

you wouldn't happen to have a large magnet in that general area would you? (speaker, subwoofer, etc...)

Tried degaussing, didn't work. There's a desktop lamp next to the monitor and I have my boston speakers in front of the monitor.
