I have a Gateway VX900 that I have used since Aug, 1998. Its a 19" Trinitron Monitor that has served me well. Its gone through 5-6 moves, and gets heavy use by me (6+ hours per day).
Starting this week, I'm beginning to notice some faint, parallel lines that emanate from the side of the monitor and curve upwards towards the top of the screen. It almost looks like "shading". I hit degauss, thinking it was a weird magnetic thing, but now they aren't going away.
Is this the end? If so, I'm putting in an order for 22" CHIMEI today.
