Hey folks,
I have an Optiquest V95 monitor. All of a sudden this weekend I was getting this wierd problem where it would lose signal for about 3 seconds. It would do this everytime I maximized a program on my screen..i.e. Internet Explorer, Outlook express, or Word. The screen would immediately go black, lose signal, than come back when i move the mouse. I tooled around with some stuff and the only way i could keep it from doing this was if i drop the refresh rate down from optimal to 60hz.
This is the lowest setting and it damn well hurts my eyes. Every other refresh rate setting wouldn't work though without the same result.
Other things to note: I have a Visontek geforce2gts with the 6.50 Dets. installed. I swapped out to a Geforce2mx and got the same result. My resolution is 1280*1024*16bit and my monitor supports up to 85hz at this resolution. What's wrong. The only other thing i could think of is a power issue, but i just don't know. Any suggestions?
Thx
Steph
