is my monitor about to die?

the color on my monitor will "flash" to a blueish tint, and then back to the normal color. It's a very light blue tint, but still enough to notice that something isn't right. It's an IBM p70 monitor.

could be the cable breaking down. I have the same with mine. It's the cable, not the guns.

i have no intentions on repairing this monitor. It's been great, but it has to be at least 10 years old. These IBM's last forever.
