is my mobo dying?

So, I am running my sig i7 rig at stock, and I've been getting a number of BSODs. Latest one was "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" while I was just surfing the web. Is this a sign that my mobo is dying? Or that my memory's bad? Or maybe I just need to reinstall windows after having several mobos + GPUs on this install?

Help?

also, I set my memory to DDR3-1066 since running at 1333 always gives me BSODs fairly soon after boot (the mem controller of Gulftown only supports 1066, right?)

That's good. It was an obvious memory problem. If the mobo was defective it wouldn't give you an error message at all I don't think. The system would just fail.

Hey, so believe it or not, the issue was not with memory. It was actually a graphics driver problems. When I switched back to my GTX 580 from a 7970, I installed the highest version number in my folder -- which turned out to be a buggy beta.

Running WHQL drivers, works fine. Memtest86 ran multiple passes and passed 🙂
