Is my Mobo Dying?

My computer won't boot all the way to windows, but my computer won't consistently let me into BIOS. It frequently just hangs on the splash screen. I can hear the clicks when I hold Del, but then sometimes it won't go to BIOS. Also, sometimes when I start it does not give me the option to boot from CD. (I'm trying to repair what looks like a corrupt HDD, but I'm starting to suspect that the problem is deeper. I have no idea what has caused this failure.)

Doubt its the MB... Sounds more like your HD is giving everthing fits...? Noticed its a 200gb which means it is kinda old...? Do you have another HD to test with...?

Actually, my sig is older than my HDD. Anyway, it looks like the id
ssue may have been that the Mobo doesn't like to go to BIOS right after restarting. Does that sound crazy. The board is the Gigabyte listed in the sig.
