how do i check it my MB is still good? i raised my Voffset to maximum...lol so i think i friend my CPU, i just need to know how to check my MB to see if i should get a new one also
Vcore = 1.42
changed the voffset to .700000
saved, never turned on again.
got my CPU sent out, gonna get a new one....and i need to know if i fried my MB also. The green light on the board is one when the PSU is powered...thats all i get,
Have you reset the CMOS on the motherboard by disconnecting the power cord and removing the battery for a while? It's likely that the system won't ever turn back on even with a new CPU until you undo the voltage changes in the BIOS, and it's entirely possible that you'll just fry another CPU if you try to turn the system on with those same Voffset settings...
I told them exactly what happened on the phone to the representative....He didn't care at all. I was like i changed the Voffset and it never turned on again, and he was like "oh okay, well you should get an email soon for RMA, we will have a look"
