Okay, here is the problem,
My computer is working fine for months, then I?m away for a week and come home to the following problem.
When I switch on I get passed login fine and everything but after about a minute the display breaks up and then goes blank. The computer won?t respond and after a couple more minutes the Mobo emits 5 or 6 shirt bleeps.
If I leave it unplugged for 10 minutes then power up again I have the same problem.
In the subsequent boot ups, once in windows I get an an error report sent to MS which states there was a problem loading the Matrox graphics card drivers.
Have tried doing a system restore ( though nothing was changed prior to the problem), but it flakes out before completing.
Can?t remember which Matrox card I have ? maybe a 450 ? I bought it about year or so ago.
Is the card kaput ????
