Please, can we speak English in this forum? Some of these thread titles make my head hurt.

It makes sense to me. some people, for example, feel the need to do weird things like put spaces after each sentence ! it gets a bit irritating as it is harder to read . Plus, they use abbreviations and other "techniques" to speed typing which are generally acceptable on text messages, but not on an online forum . there is also quite a bit of run on sentences, malapropisms, and other weird things that just don't make sense, often instead of making a new sentence or putting a semicolon they just keep going on and it get's even harder to read, not to mention a lack of paragraphing and use of many commas or periods as though that stretched out the length of a pause as an ellipsis (...) might,,,,,,, and don't get me started on homophones like peak/peek/pique or their/they're/there or your/you're............

It makes things tough for those of us that expected English and got madness.

I hate pre.

It's impossible to do something before doing it.

Guilty as charged, though it's odd for me to read that criticism, as I often find reading on a glowing screen difficult, and that the spaces tend to ease the chore for me. Now I know someone feels exactly the opposite, a somewhat jarring realization...

I never realized anyone would think differently! For me, the difference between a screen and a book is pretty minimal, and I'm very used to have the punctuation right after the sentence.

Oh, I do tend to be a stickler for proper punctuation, but to me the forum format lends itself to concision, brevity, and a space after each idea or paragraph, whichever comes first. Hopefully if I keep to a tight sentence structure with better than average speeling and punctuation; I can be forgiven some extraneous line breaks...*&%#

What annoys me more than non-proper punctuation, misspelling or bad grammar, is use of "nicknames" like "Sammy" for "Samsung". That sounds childlike and inappropriate for a (semi?) professional forum like this.
