Is my logitech wireless mouse done?

im using a dinovo (bluetooth) keyboard and mouse combo (mouse is an mx900)

im having some trouble getting a good charge out of it.

i have tried replacing the batteries with some energizer rechargeables.

the problem is that when i put it in its stand, it goes green, blinks twice, and then stays solid green which means it is not charging, but full?

however, the battery life only lasts me a couple of hours of just browsing the internet.

is there something else i should try? tia

Look at the batteries you had in the device. Chances are they were put together with something that trips a switch in the mouse to tell it that its using the logitech rechargable battery pack. Im not going to recommend you find that switch and activate it somehow. That is up to you.

The charging contacts on the bottom of all of the rechargeable Logitech mice eventually wear out due to gaming and normal use. They aren't really meant to last more than 2 years. You'll have to get a real charger eventually...I've had all the MX700, MX900, and I use the 1000 now. Both of the previous mice no longer were able to charge on the stand. The contacts were just plaine stratched/corroded.

heres something weird. i switched the batteries around and now its charging fine again. i wonder if ill have to do this every time. any ideas why its working when you switch the batteries around?

thx
