Is my Lite-On 12x10x32 overclockable?

Can i overclock my cdr drive to burn faster? It is a LTR-12101B Drive. How would i be able to do it? Thanks.

BEST WAY TO OC A CDBURNER

1) Open the drive door
2) Place 2 $20 bills through the hole in the cd tray
3) close the door so the bills are sticking out
4) send it back to the company you bought it from and ask for an upgrade.

haha just kidding ;)

Someone on this forum pointed out LOLthis link for CDRW overclocking. I am still looking into this myself...Need to know if I could make my new Lite-On 32X12X40X go faster.

I laughed too when i first heard about overclocking cdrw drives, but it is really real for lite-on burners mostly. I hear that the 32x lite on burners easily go up to 48x with a firmware update, because they are the same drives basically. Wish my 12x could hit 16x tho.
