Is my lenovo z60t too slow for vista?

Hello,

I've been running vista for a few months now. It is ALWAYS slow, I've reformatted once already and upgraded from 1gb to 2gb of ram and it is still slow. I have a P-M 2ghz 2gb RAM intel graphics 915 60gb hd. My computer is always running hot and at 100% CPU usage. Is my computer really that old? I just bought it last year for 1,000. I now know the graphics suck but I didn't think it would be this slow. Any ideas?
 
Which flavour Vista?

Try disabling Aero if you have it and see if that makes a difference.
Also, did you manage to install all the hw drivers for vista successfully?
 
Your hardware should be just fine running any version of Vista.

It should not be constantly at 100% CPU utilization. What process(es) are chewing up all the cycles?

At this point my money would be on a driver and/or software compatibility issue.
