Is my laptop screen really a B+RGLED?

Hello. Just received a Dell XPS with the B+RGLED option for the screen. I see that the resolution is 1920 X 1080. I don't see any other indicator that the screen is really the B+RGLED. Device Manager reads "monitor = generic PnP monitor. Manufaturer = (standard monitor types)".
Anyone know how to determine if I really have a B+RGLED on the new Dell XPS 15 L502x?
Thanks

If you got the 1920 screen upgrade you have the B+RGLED. Your device manager isn't going to tell you the type of backlight that your panel uses.

My friend has the XPS 15 with the screen upgrade. I find the colours oversaturated, like they're burning my retinas. Are you experiencing a similar effect?

Try playing with the video card drivers and the refresh rate. higher refresh rate normally help, and of course adrjusting contrast/brightness... and if the contrast ratio sux you are outta luck as u cant change that.
