Is my laptop or desktop better for gaming?

In this corner:
Macbook Pro: 2.2gighz c2d, 2 gigs ddr2, 8600mgt 128 mb


Other corner:
a64 3000+ @2.2 gighz, dfi lanparty ut250gb, 1 gig ddr400, x1950pro agp 256 mb

Which will be better for gaming and if so how much? I'm thinking about putting in a spare agp card and selling the x1950 pro. Any input would be appreciated!
 
The desktop has the better video card and probably a faster hard drive. Increase it to 2GB ram and I would say it's the better system, even though it's only single core.
