Is my Harddrive Hosed or No???

Ok,

according to XP, my secondary backup harddrive had a "delayed" write problem. happen last night when it was shutting down and the message popped up. sometimes, the two partitions of the harddrive are present in My Computer, sometimes, they're not. i can access them, but its very slow. sometimes, it wont let me see the files.

you can check my signature for my current setup. is there anything i can do?

Download the diagnostic utility from your hard drive manufacturer (unless you already have the floppy they give you) and run the tests to see if your drive is dead or dying.

but Quantum no longer seems to sell consumer level harddrives! is there another general diagnostic utility i can use?
