Is my hard drive to big for my mobo?

I just bought a 250GB seagate sata drive, my computer is saying I only have about 130GB of space. My mobo is a chaintech MK8T890 socket 754. I have windows xp with sp2. Any suggestions?

I installed it from help and support. I also found something on microsoft's site that looks to be a fix for it, but when I download it, it says I can't install it because I already have a newer version. So I'm still looking for a fix. Thanks.
