Is my hard drive going to die?

I've notice when I leave my computer on for long periods of time, one of the hard drives decides to "shut down" I can't access it any longer, I tried to access through admin tools but still no avail. The only way it will work is if I restart.

Are these symptoms of the hard drive on the verge of going kapoot? BTW, its a maxtor SATA. Fairly new too.
