Is my hard drive dying?

Earlier I had my computer on sleep mode. When I woke it, there was no signal to the monitor. I had to power off the computer. When I turned it on, the hard drive sounded like it was turning off then turned back on; this happened three times.

I was still not getting anything on my monitor, but the computer sounded like it was powering on normally. After a few minutes, I finally get the windows starting screen. Is it time to start looking for a new hard drive?
