at present :

3.77GHz
FSB 222
VDimm 2.8 volts
Timings : 3-3-3-8

everything is pretty stable when doing burn-ins still yet when i push further I keep getting devide driver errors...... eg :

http://oca.microsoft.com/en/respons...e065035c&SID=11

and

http://oca.microsoft.com/en/respons...7bc92e9&SID=271

my AGP settings are (AGP and PCI locked in BIOS) :

Core : 400mhz
Mem : 840mhz

also

latest NVidia Drivers : 6.14.10.6703

haven't touched the BIOS though..... version is : 10/01/2004

board revision is "875P01-0" I think

looks like my efforts are being thwarted by my card ?? is this the case .....

any ideas ??

I wanna get higher than 3.77GHz !!!!

Cheers

Well the obvious answer is to back down on the 6800 OC and see if the issues disappear.

More likely is your Ram timings are so far off they are probably causing instability. Just because someone said you could loosen the ram timings to get extra speed does not mean you can go crazy, there are limits to how loose ram will run. I believe running 2-2-2 ram at 8-3-3-3 is pushing it, I wound'nt go looser than 7-3-3-2.5 before expecting errors, and anyway you should be good for 240-250 at 7-3-3-2.5 before you start hitting any walls with the Mushkin, 222 seems low...maybe someone else who owns the same ram can offer up thier experience with the ram timings...

Ummm... why is your video card's RAM at only 840? Default is 1000. (500DDR if you wanna look at it that way... and if you meant 840DDR, aka. 1680 MHz then I'd have to call BS😉 )

i think the 6800GT has a stock rate of 1GHz...... mine isn't the GT......

and I had 2 people on the DFI forum who have the same mobo RAM recommend the 3.8.8.8 setting.....
