I moved to a tropical country a month ago.
Within hours of turning on my computer some kind of insect managed to get inside the graphic card. The computer turned itself off when it happened probably because the Seasonic PSU detected a short and shut down.So the day after I opened it up, cleaned up the dust and thermal paste. Didnt find the insect which I saw yesterday so it must have ran away.
When I put it back together again the display in windows seems weird. It's like if you shift the whole display to the right by 10%. So the first 10% of the screen in the left area is what's supposed to be displayed in the last 10% of the display. Interesting thing is that there's no problem during POST or GRUB boot selection.
Any idea if this is fixable at all ?
