typical build question:

installed a e6300, w/ a tuniq tower, evga gts 640, 2 pc's of crucial ballistic 1gb ram, with a corsair hx520 psu all on a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3.

All the components were worked when I plugged them first in and the system booted fine to bios. All I changed was the time in the bios. When I put the same system in an Antec 900 case, everything powers on, but no boot screen. I thought maybe it was a grounding issue and took the mobo back out of the case and placed on anti-static bag, still nothing. I swapped vid cards, still nothing. I swapped monitors, still nothing.

So, is the mobo bad? I'm thinking not since the CPU fan still spins and that's plugged into the CPU fan connector on the mobo.

Any advice?

Try clearing the CMOS: with power cord unplugged, discharge the capacitors by pressing the power button.
Swap the small yellow motherboard jumper from pins 1 & 2, to pins 2 & 3.
Wait 30 seconds, then return jumper to original position.
