I got it in 2011, so about 1 year old

full specs: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=3606#kf

I have:
2x 1TB HDDs
2x4gb ram
i5 2400 running at 1.15v with turbo on (3.6ghz)
HD7850 running at 1200mhz OC (factory clock is 800mhz)
average gigabyte motherboard
about 6 120mm fans
1 led light

(in my PC when I look at it i see that it says that power won't exceed 480w for "...3.3v + 12v1 + 12v2 combined power")

is it enough?
i see that it has 18amps for each 12v rail, if only 1 rail is used, does it get more power from the other, unused rail? like for example my card i heard it needs 21amps, and it's even OCd, so it would need more, does it get 36 amps or 18?

PSU worked fine for 1 year+, no problems, I used a gts450 in the past, I always did furmarks and benchmarks while OC'd and never got a power-related BSOD (I only get bsods when I OC my gpu too much but I suspect i get them beacause the gpu itself crashes not beceause of not enough power, since the bsods tell me something about ati...something driver that failed)

should I upgrade it? also it costs about 80$ for 620watts so it was very cheap
I could sell it for about 30-50$ and buy a (modular hopefully)100$ PSU from seasonic, sirtec, corsair, OCZ

also my gpu has only 1 slot for an 8pin connector, so only 1 rail would get used? or does the entire power go to 1 rail if the other isn't used?

Your link doesn't work. Here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3606

Gigabyte isn't exactly known for high quality power supplies even though it is excellent with motherboards, graphics cards etc. For PSUs, brands typically rely on third parties to manufacture the units and in this case, the OEM chosen is basically mid-tier in terms of build quality and power stability - not crap but not that good either. The Gigabyte Superb 620W is made by FSP.

That unit is sufficient to power your rig - a high quality 400W unit could power it without any issues. That said, the Superb 620W isn't much more powerful than that, and given that it's not that high quality, it wouldn't be a bad idea to ease up on the OC a bit. In high quality units, you almost invariably find +12V capacity within 0-20% of the wattage rating. Having a high +12V capacity indicates the unit can actually draw its rated wattage without risk of being overloaded. This Gigabyte is rated for 36A or 432W on the +12V combined for both rails, almost 200 watts below its full wattage rating. Effectively you're looking at a 450-500W unit, which is fine for your setup.

EDIT: The amp requirements for graphics cards are reported for the whole system. The idea is that in an average system using X graphics card, you need Y amount of amps on the +12V assuming the PSU is of average quality. The graphics card itself only uses about 120W (10A) at stock, and maybe 180W (15A) with your overclock.

Think you would be fine, but might want to invest in a better one and keep it as a spare? My rig uses about 380w according to a Kill-A-Watt meter, not sure how accurate it is, but my PSU is really quiet, and according to reviews it is normally really loud underload. So I imagine your rig uses at most 300w, more than enough for your PSU to power it.
