Is my Geico Quote fair?

I'm a 23 year-old female, college student with good academic standing. Nothing on my record, not even a speeding ticket. I have a 2013 Toyota Corolla LE, I asked for a quote for full-coverage with a deductible of $1,000 and was given the quote of $591/6 months - so $98.50/month with Geico.
Is this fair? Should I look elsewhere? Thanks!

Geico is cheapest for me as well -- 27 year old male, speeding ticket or two in the past five years. My rate with them is a little better than yours, even street parked in a city with a car that's worth a little more. Probably just has to do with age.

You might try some small local insurance companies too, but if you got four quotes it probably won't decrease too much.

Always comparison shop for car insurance. Progressive consistently wins for me, over 10 years now. Look at all of the coverage and associated costs - there are a lot of factors there.

You won't know until you get all the quotes as it depends on the driver, location, driving patterns/habits/history, and of course insurance agency. In my case Geico has been the cheapest. $1000/year for full coverage for a 4 year old corolla for 23 year old female does not seem too outrageous to me. But you'll never know until you get all the quotes. Get them quotes.

Since insurance costs factor in too many variables for us to compare rates, I can say Geico has been the cheapest for me. After I graduated college, I have used Allstate, Travelers, and Geico. Geico was the cheapest when I was under 25 y/o, and it dropped further after I turned 25. I was also driving anything from a Civic, to a 335i, and even a CLS 63 in this time frame.

Looks fine to me. Just went through the process of getting quotes a few weeks ago as my renewal was coming up. Geico was still cheapest among the "big names". I find it rather ironic considering how much money they spend on TV ads.

Considering your age and we don't know what city / state this is for, it is pretty reasonable. With no accidents or tickets, it should go down at next renewal, unless the state insurance board gets a rate increase (The insurance companies just got one of 12% here in North Carolina) .. I have Allstate and it was $684 for 6 months 100/300/50 2 cars (1999 Grand Prix with Liability & Comprehensive, 2016 Cadillac ATS AWD Premium with full coverage, no accidents / tickets) .. State Farm was at $960 for 6 months

I've never had my rates go down the next renewal, it always goes up. Been with Geico for 2 years and my rates have climbed significantly in that time and I'm looking elsewhere.

Yep, I somewhat agree. Always shop around. My Geico rates have gone up very slowly the last few years so that's fine considering everyone else is still quite a bit higher.

I guess it depends on where you live. At that age and when I was in college and in good standing, I was spending more than that for 6 months of state minimum coverage, no collision/comprehensive with Gieco. 0 tickets/moving violations. And they were the cheapest I could find, by far. I was with them for about 2-3 years or so and they started increasing my rates even with zero claims so I finally had enough and found a much better deal.
