Is my geforce3 defective?

I get these artifacts with my geforce3 ti200. I get them even when underclocked! I got them using 21.83, 23.11, and 27.11. My 2D is perfectly fine, but when playing 3d games, I keep getting these things. is my card screwed (get replacement) or what? I don't understand what's wrong.

I did a directx diagnostic test... directdraw is fine. direct3d using v7 is fine. direct3d using v8 with hardware acceleration shows artifacts. I hope that helps anyone who is kind enough to help me figure out what's wrong and how I can fix it...

ok... I narrowed it down even further... the artifacts show up when I'm using DirectX 8.1 with AA on (2x, quincunx, 4x... all of them have problems). Is this normal????

No it's not normal. I never have any artifacts.
