It is an Intel system, P4C 2.4 on a Abit IC7 motherboard. In the bios, my fan speeds are about:

CPU: 2500
NB: 6500
Sys: 2220

They seem really low to me, but Im not sure.

Thats about right for the NB fan, but we need to know what your other fans are to help.

2500 is normal for a retail P4 HS
6500 is normal for an IC7 NB (you consider that low)??
2200 for sys...depends on what fan it is.

Wow! You're northbridge fan is at 6500. Doesn't that sound like a small wind tunnel?

Oops... I just wanted to list the NB fan speed also to see if it was in spec. But I thought the others where low compared to the NB.

Other than the NB and CPU fan, I have 2 other case fans and only one of them are connected to the motherboard (other one is connect directly to psu). So does the 2220rpm sound about right for an exhaust fan?

As for noise, my other computer is so loud that I can barely hear this one.

Thanks
