Is my E6300 functioning normally?

I'm a little worried about my e6300 because I inadvertently ran it for about 10 seconds at 90 degrees Celsius (HSF not making proper contact). I have a thermaltake big typhoon cooling it
and it runs at 45C on idle and up to 55C load. It also gets an average of 36 seconds on 1m super pi mod. Is all of this normal for a stock clock and voltage e6300?

I doubt you hurt anything, although you wouldn't want to repeat the event. The CPU will shut itself down if it gets too hot, and several people have reported having that happen to them without any ill effects. Your current temps look good now, just keep them that way and you should be fine.
