Is my DSL modem dying?

Hi all-
I've been trying to troubleshoot problems with my DSL for a few days now (hangs on downloads over few 100kb without losing connection). Does this sound like symptoms of a dying modem? I've tried just about everything else. It's a ZyXel Prestige 600, BTW...
