well every once in awhile .. afew times aday it does this wierd small flicker/shimmer. not a degauss. anyone seen this before or know what it is doing ?? or better yet how to stop it.

Or sometimes even a sudden draw on power in the house will do it... my old CRT does weird stuff when the air conditioner starts up.

But yeah, cow123's prolly right. Ever see your TV get staticy when someone runs the blender? Anyway.
