Is my DDR2-667MHz memory running at half-speed?

I have a question about this computer:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883113071

It's an older Gateway "AMD Phenom X3-8450", model number is GT5692.

The specs say it should be using DDR2-667MHz memory. CPU-ID shows the following:
Okay, I was going to post a link to an image but since I am lazy I'll just describe what CPU-Z shows:
"SPD" screen
Slot#1: DDR2
Module Size 2048 MBytes
Max Bandwidth: PC2-5300(333MHz)
Manufacturer: Samsung
Part Number: M3 78T5663QZ3-CE6

And in the timings table:
JEDEC #1 200MHz
JEDEC #2 266MHz
JEDEC #3 333MHz

Selecting "Slot #2" shows pretty much the same information. Is my memory running at the full speed it could be running at on this system. Why does it show (333MHz) in the "Max Bandwidth" box? Can I tweak/change this to make it right? The thing I am thinking is that maybe two chips running at 333MHz in dual-channel memory mode is technically considered 667MHz?? *shrugs*

Thanks for reading

DDR3 stands for double data rate. At 667MHz effective, the bus should be running at 333MHz.
