I have the same drive and it works perfectly aside from high temperatures. I run a backup every day.

I myself with my Samsung Evo 970 Evo Plus 500GB--Installed December 2021, Data written so far 31.3TB (as right now i keep my Windows Library folders on another drive) as i'm very paranoid on writes

Then again i treated my former Sata 250GB SSD boot drive same way

All the user data right now stored on my WD Black 4TB Drive

Though File transfers to USB drives slow as molasses lol, 6 plus hours to transfer 55.8GB, but guess will get done eventually

omg you transfering over usb2.0?
I hate to tell you this, but i think my internet connection is faster then that, because i can download a game that big in under 15min.

I think you need to upgrade something, or fix something.
That is just too ridiculously slow, its almost as painful as watching paint dry.

Well i am using Rear Blue USB 3.2 Gen 1 Port, aka think USB 3.0 port on back of system

Amazon Purchased Music/Former Xbox Music store when Microsoft had briefly music sales, Google Play Music files in this folder

((can start a separate topic on this issue if need be))
Intel I7 10700, Gigabyte B460M-DS3H Motherboard, 32GB of Ram, Windows 11 Pro 22H2 (last clean installed 9/20/2022 when Bluetooth had unfixable error

Might upgrade Platform soon as i can afford to--maybe from Micro Center this time if i can get there and have them build it properly this time
last time in June 2020 had a local shop do the build

Should i do a clean Windows 11 Install at some Point?
Getting USB 2.5 Gig adapter in coming days, hopefully that won't slow down usb transfers any worst than it is now once setup
other things connected to usb right now is Logitech G Pro Wired Headset
and WD My Passport Red that was cleaning up other files earlier

((All USB ports occupied currently))

Clean installl won't fix that. Looks like a hardware issue.. Try a different drive. Even USB2 would be 10 times faster than that.

Yeah i'll try another drive tomorrow--just have to find one that is proper size, and hopefully is faster than this current one

As for my Samsung 970 Evo Plus hopefully works fine for a long long time
